From curiosity to career
How taking things apart turned into running the systems an organization depends on.
My interest in technology started early on in life. I've always been fascinated by understanding how things work behind the scenes, whether it was computers, software, networks, or the devices we use every day. What began as simple curiosity quickly turned into a passion for taking things apart, troubleshooting problems, and learning the inner workings of technology.
As the years went on, I gained access to more equipment, systems, and opportunities to learn. I spent countless hours experimenting, building, breaking, and fixing technology simply because I enjoyed it. That hands-on experience eventually led to the creation of NTechFix, where I provided computer repair and IT support services while continuing to expand my skills.
As my interests and experience grew, I pursued a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity, building a stronger foundation in security, networking, systems administration, risk management, and modern IT practices. What began as a personal passion gradually evolved into a professional career, allowing me to work with increasingly complex technologies and larger environments while continuing to learn every step of the way.
Throughout my career, I've had the opportunity to deploy, manage, and support a wide range of technologies, including Microsoft 365, Intune, Entra ID, SharePoint, endpoint security platforms, mobile device management, telecommunications systems, automation workflows, and cloud infrastructure. Each new challenge has added another layer of experience and helped shape the way I approach technology today.
Technology is a constantly evolving landscape, and that's one of the reasons I enjoy working in the field. I'm particularly passionate about exploring emerging technologies, automation, large language models (LLMs), and artificial intelligence, continually looking for practical ways to apply new innovations to solve real-world problems, improve efficiency, and create better experiences for users and organizations alike.
The original NTechFix site remains online as an archive of where this journey began and as a reminder that a lifelong curiosity about technology can grow into a career built around learning, problem-solving, and helping others make the most of the tools they rely on every day.
