Zammad: Open-Source Help Desk Done Right

Another open-source tool I keep coming back to - clean, simple, and pleasant for admins and end users alike.

Zammad is another open-source tool I keep coming back to. It works well, it looks nice, and it is simple and easy to use for both administrators and end users.

A help desk lives or dies on adoption, and Zammad gets the experience right on both sides of the ticket. Admins get a clean, capable back end; end users get an interface that is approachable enough that they will actually use it instead of emailing you directly. That balance is rarer than it should be.

Open source, good-looking, and easy for everyone - Zammad is a genuinely pleasant help desk.

As with Snipe-IT, the open-source foundation is a big part of the appeal: your data stays yours, there is no seat-based pricing, and the software is actively developed. If you are evaluating a ticketing system and want something that feels modern without a heavy licensing commitment, Zammad is well worth a look.
